After school, I articled with the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre and with Vogel LLP in Calgary. As a student, I interned at legal clinics in Montreal and with the Children's Legal & Educational Resource Centre in Calgary. Since starting my law journey, I have been active in legal academia, attending symposiums and conferences on topics relating to civil rights, the environment, and access to justice. I am currently a Barrister & Solicitor with Richardson Law, a boutique law firm in Calgary, Alberta.
During law school, I worked as an Associate Managing Editor with the McGill International Journal of Sustainable Law, Development and Policy. I currently serve as Treasurer on the Board of the Calgary Soto Zen Society, a community of formal Zen Buddhist pracitioners affiliated with the Everyday Zen Foundation and the San Francisco Zen Centre. I frequently spend my Sundays as an area lead with Calgary's Feed the Hungry Program.
In my free time, I continue to expand my skills in photography, art and design, and to practice and promote meditation and yoga.
